RAM-VB-168-TRI1 semi truck no-drill stand system includes the articulating arm (12" of swing arm travel), tele-pole system and vehicle base for the following vehicles:
  • Freightliner Trucks
  • International Trucks
  • Kenworth Trucks
  • Peterbilt Trucks 
  • Volvo Trucks

NOTE: If the heater box in under the seat, the installer may need to drill holes in the base to accommodate vehicle mounting holes or studs. Also, the heater box may cause the system to sit higher than normal. Pole may be cut down by installer to lower kit. This will not void the warranty.

This system installs quickly and easily into the specified vehicles using the existing hardware of the passenger side seat rails. See the installation video by clicking here. This configuration provides a telescoping feature that allows a vertical height adjustment range from 18 to 24 inches (additional height ranges are available). The patented rubber ball and socket joint provides additional adjustment as well as shock and vibration isolation. 

RAM-VB-168-TRI1 Features:

  • Warranty: Manufacturer's, RAM Mounts (National Products Inc.), Limited Life Time Warranty.
  • Mounting Plate: NOT INCLUDED.       
  • Articulating Arm: RAM-VB-110-1U black powder coated steel dual swing arm with 12 inches of total extension. Connects to the Tough Tray and upper tele-pole.  
  • NOTE: THE ROUND MOUNTING PLATE SHOWN BELOW IS NOT INCLUDED.
       
  • Telescoping Pole: "Tele-Pole" showed assembled with bottom tele-pole RAM-VB-TBF18U and upper tele-pole RAM-VB-TTM12U (far left picture below). The tele-pole allows a height adjustment range from 18 to 24 inches. For an even more custom installation, the tele-pole may be easily cut with a hack saw to a more desired length.

  • Upper Tele-Pole: RAM-VP-TTM12U black powder coated steel 12 inch upper tele-pole mates to the articulating arm and lower tele-pole.
  • Upper Tele-Pole Dimensions: A = 1.328" OD, B = 2.5", C = 12"
        
  • Lower Tele-Pole: RAM-VB-TBF18U  black powder coated steel 18 inch lower tele-pole mates to the upper tele-pole and vehicle base.
  • Lower Tele-Pole Dimensions: A = 1.375" OD, B = 3.5", C = 18"
  •  Vehicle Base: RAM-VB-168 no-drill base for the specified vehicles.
    • Seat Configuration: Bucket/bench seats only.
    • Installation: No-drill installation. Attaches to existing seat studs.
    • Mount/Base Placement: Passenger side on the floor, under front seat.
    • NOTE: Vehicle base will limit seat travel.

    • Dimension A: 19.56 inches
    • Dimension B: 14.37 inches
    • Dimension C: 1.10 inches

  • NOTE: If your vehicle is equipped with an airbag sensor under the seat disconnect the sensor before installing the vehicle base. (If unsure contact your local car dealer.) The video shown is for installation reference and may show additional or less parts than your vehicle base (RAM stabilizer foot that attaches to the base/lower tele-pole as shown in the video). Simply follow the video without installing these components if your vehicle base does not include these parts. Your vehicle base may connect to the seat track bolts differently than shown in the video. The instructions shown to install the RAM tele-pole system, swing arm assembly and Tough Tray are the same for all RAM No-Drill laptop systems regardless of the vehicle base used.
