The RAM-138-TABL8U is a RAM "C" sized 1.5 ball flat surface marine grade aluminum mount that has a 2.5 inch diameter flat surface base with pre-drilled holes, LOCKING standard sized arm, universal round adapter plate and LOCKING cradle for MOST 10 inch screen tablets including the device(s) specified below:

Apple iPad (with or without bumper cover, case or Otterbox*)
Apple iPad 2 (with or without bumper cover, case or Otterbox*)
Apple iPad 3 (with or without bumper cover, case or Otterbox*)
Apple iPad HD (with or without bumper cover, case or Otterbox*)

Socket Ball Size: C-Ball Size = 1.5 inch ball. Max Weight 10 lbs.
Base: RAM-202U 2.5 inch diameter round base with pre-drilled holes and 1.5 inch diameter rubber ball. The pre-drilled holes accommodate the AMPS hole pattern. Mounting hardware is NOT INCLUDED.
Arm: RAM-201LU standard sized length LOCKING arm for 1.5 inch balls. The arm measures 5.63 inches between socket centers. A plastic twist knob allows you to articulate the arm in any direction. 2 keys are provided for the locking knob.
Adapter: RAM-202U universal round plate with two pre-drilled holes and 1.5 inch diameter rubber ball. The pre-drilled holes accommodate the AMPS hole pattern.
