The RAM-B-101AU is a flat surface marine grade aluminum mount that has a 2.5 inch diameter flat surface base with pre-drilled holes (hardware not included), standard sized length arm and 2.5 inch diameter mounting plate with 1/4"-20 Male Thread.

Base: RAM-B-202U 2.5 inch diameter marine grade aluminum base with pre-drilled holes and 1 inch diameter rubber ball. The pre-drilled holes accommodate the AMPS hole pattern.
Arm: RAM-B-201U standard length sized arm for 1 inch balls. The arm measures 3.0 inches between socket centers (3.6875 inches in overall length). A plastic twist knob allows you to articulate the arm in any direction.
Camera Plate Design: The RAM-B-202AU is a 2.5 inch round powder coated marine grade aluminum universal camera plate with a 1.0 diameter ball. The camera plate has a male 1/4"-20 camera thread that connects to the female thread found on the bottom of most camera and video cameras.

An alternative camera mounting solution is the RAM-B-237U 1.0 diameter ball with a male 1/4"-20 aluminum camera stud.
