The RAM-B-138-TAB5U is a flat surface marine grade aluminum mount that has a 2.5 inch diameter flat surface base with pre-drilled holes, standard sized arm, diamond adapter plate and composite cradle designed to hold the following tablet devices WITHOUT a case/cover/skin:
  • Barnes & Noble NOOKcolor WITHOUT case/cover/skin
  • BlackBerry PlayBook WITHOUT case/cover/skin
  • Dell Streak 7 WITHOUT case/cover/skin
  • Samsung Galaxy WITHOUT case/cover/skin
NOTE: Please see the RAM-HOL-TAB4U for the above devices WITH a case/cover/skin.

This cradle is also compatible with tablets within the following dimensions:
  • Height: 5.0" minimum to 9.1" maximum
  • Width: Maximum width to 4.7 inches
  • Depth: 0.125" to 0.44" maximum

RAM-B-138-TAB5U Includes the Following:

  • Warranty: Manufacturer's, RAM Mounts (National Products Inc.), Limited Life Time Warranty.
  • Color/Material: Black power coated marine grade aluminum. Chrome is also available.
  • Socket Ball Size: B-Ball Size = 1.0 inch ball. Max Weight 5 lbs.
  • Overall Length: Click on Technical Specs above to see the overall length dimensions.
  • Base: RAM-B-202U 2.5 inch diameter base with pre-drilled holes and 1 inch diameter rubber ball. The pre-drilled holes accommodate the AMPS hole pattern. Mounting hardware is NOT INCLUDED.
  • Arm: RAM-B-201U standard length arm for 1 inch balls. The arm measures 2.875 inches between socket centers (3.6875 inches in overall length). A plastic twist knob allows you to articulate the arm in any direction.
    • A longer arm RAM-B-201U-C, 5.25 inches from socket center to socket center is available. Please see RAM-B-138U-C for the complete assembly.
    • NOTE: The holder is not included in the RAM-B-138U-C.
  • Adapter: RAM-B-238U marine grade aluminum diamond shaped base with pre-drilled holes and 1 inch diameter rubber ball. The pre-drilled holes accommodate the AMPS hole pattern. 
  • Included Cradle RAM-HOL-TAB5U Features: 
    • Support cups contain open slots to accommodate for devices  without bumpers/cases sleeves.
    • Back plate can support various size support cups.
    • Spring loaded tension provides secure support of devices.
    • Spring loaded cradle allows for quick release of devices.
    • The cradle allows all cables (NOT INCLUDED) to stay connected and all buttons/ports remain accessible.
