The RAM-HOL-UN2U is a high strength composite medium sized side clamping cradle designed to hold devices within the following size dimensions:

• RAM-HOL-UN2U Cradle Dimensions:
  • Minimum Grip Width: 2.2 inches
  • Maximum Grip Width: 3.75 inches
  • Side Clamp Height: 1.88 inches
  • Side Clamp Depth: 1.25 inches
  • Cradle Spine Height: 4.62 inches
  • Cradle Spine Width: 2.62 inches

NOTE: The top of the cradle is open allowing items in the cradle to be larger than the height of the cradle. 

 

NOTE: If you require a different sized side clamping cradle there are three other options available the RAM-HOL-UN1U (Small Sized), RAM-HOL-UN3U (Large Sized) and the RAM-B-120B (Aluminum Cradle Large Sized) cradle.

 

NOTE: The RAM side clamping cradle is designed to be used in a closed cabin environment. The side clamping cradle is only a light weight cradle and may not hold your device in a high vibration situations as found on a motorcycle. If used on a motorcycle the electronic device should be tethtered to the cradle.

RAM-HOL-UN2U Features:

Cradle Material: Black high strength composite.

Cradle Hole Pattern: The back of the cradle has two pre-drilled holes compatible with the AMPS hole pattern (1.912 inches from center hole to center hole).

Cradle Description: The RAM-HOL-UN2U is a medium sized side clamping cradle that is designed to hold a large amount of medium sized electronic devices.
This cradle has padded locking side clamps that close tightly on the item you want to hold. To release the clamp hold, simply press the button found at the bottom side of the cradle which will spring the clamps open. At the base of the cradle are two small support legs that move along the base edge of the cradle. The legs support the bottom of the item securely in the cradle, while allowing cable connection to the unit.

Cradle Hardware: Includes a set of nuts and bolts to connect to the OPTIONAL RAM-B-238U diamond plate adapter.

Optional Cradle Adapter: The optional RAM-B-238U is a diamond plate adapter with two pre-drilled holes (compatible with the AMPS hole pattern) that attaches to the back of the cradle. The RAM-B-238U has a 1 inch rubber ball that will connect to other RAM 1 inch socket accessories (i.e. RAM-B-201 series arm, etc).
