Description

The RAM-B-177-UN8U is a marine grade aluminum U channel clamp base designed to mount to the lip edge of a flat surface 1.12 inches thick such as a glare shield on an airplane or car side window edge lip, short sized length marine grade aluminum arm and universal spring loaded X-Grip II holder (RAM-HOL-UN8BU fits most 7 inch screen tablets). This universal holder will accommodate electronic devices within the following dimensions:

Minimum Width = 2.25"
NOTE: (Devices 2.25" in width must be a minimum of 7" in height to fit)
Maximum Width = 5.75"
Depth = 0.875"

Base: RAM-B-259U powder coated marine grade aluminum u-channel clamp base. This glare shield clamp mount with clamp mounts is designed to mount to the lip edge of a flat surface up to 1.12 inches thick. This base will attach to flat surfaces with the following dimensions:

Min: 4.4mm / 0.17 inches
Max: 28.0mm / 1.12 inches

Includes two plastic bolts that, when tightened, clamp the base to the lip surface.

1 inch diameter rubber ball is connected to the base.

Arm: RAM-B-201U-A marine grade aluminum short sized length arm. 2 inches from socket center to socket center and 2.38 inches in overall length.

Holder Material: Black high strength composite with stainless steel and rubber tips.

Adapter Ball Size: The back of the holder has a 1.0 inch diameter rubber ball that will attach to the RAM arm.

Manufacturer's Description:The RAM-B-177-UN8U consists of a glare shield clamp base, double socket arm and universal spring loaded X-Grip II holder for 7" tablets. Simply locate the clamp on any clamping surface up to 5/8" thick and gently snug the nylon thumb screws. The mount is designed with a RAM 1" diameter patented rubber ball and socket system that has adjustment points at both ends of the double socket arm; this allowing for almost infinite adjustment and perfect viewing angles. The spring loaded X-Grip II holder expands and contracts, allowing for a perfect custom fit of your 7" tablet. Included are extra easy access grip knobs, located on the back of the holder for quick release of your tablet.
