Manufacturer's Description The RAM-SG-111U consists of a 2.5" diameter round base, STANDARD LENGTH double socket arm, 6.25" x 2" rectangle base, RAM mixed combination Pin-Lock security nut/knob and key knobs for Gimbal Brackets. The 6.25" x 2" rectangle base is a universal mounting bracket with a selection of mounting hole locations. In certain applications additional holes may need to be drilled for proper fit with your electronic device.
RAM Pin-Lock security solutions are designed to withstand the harshest environments where RAM Mounts are commonly used. With an emphasis on aesthetics and function, RAM security nuts/knobs are low profile and only add a small amount of additional bulk to your system when compared to the standard knob included. At a fraction of the cost of currently available keyed locking knobs, the additional peace of mind and tamper resistance comes at a very affordable price. The included threaded key knob replaces the gimbal knob, assuring your mounted electronic device is safe from theft and tampering.

Mounting Plate Material: Black powder coated marine grade aluminum with pre-drilled holes. NOTE: This marine grade aluminum plate can also be drilled into for a custom hole pattern without voiding the manufacturers warranty.

Mounting Plate Description: RAM-111BU has many different combination of pre-drilled holes which will match many electronic devices including: CB Radios, Ham Radios, Marine GPS and other devices.
Pin-Lock Included: RAP-S-KNOB5-GU shown below fits most Gimbal brackets. NOTE: Gimbal bracket is NOT included. The RAP-S-KNOB5-G RAM Mount Pin-Lock Security Kit for 1.5 inch C-Socket Arms and Gimbal Brackets includes a knob and key for both RAM C-Socket Arms and Gimbal brackets. Once the Pin-Lock knob has been engaged, your mount cannot be adjusted or opened without the included security key.
The RAP-S-KNOB5-G includes the RAP-S-KNOB5U which consists of a 1/4"-20 female threaded security knob and key knob.
Base Plate Included: RAM-202U shown below is a marine grade aluminum universal 2.5 inch diameter plate with a 1.5 inch diameter rubber ball. The plate has pre-drilled holes, including the universal AMPS hole pattern.
Arm Included: RAM-201-SU shown below is a standard length marine grade aluminum arm 4.55 inches in length from socket center to socket center and 5.625 inches in overall length. A tightening knob on the side of the arm enables the sockets to clamp firmly to the attached base and mounting plate. The arm allows for easy adjustment by loosening the side knob, a single spring inside the arm opens the sockets, allowing the arm to pivot on the attached plates. This enables the arm and mounting plate to be positioned at various angles allowing the ultimate in position flexibility. Loosen the knob completely and the arm will disconnect from the accessories in seconds!
