Description
The RAP-SB-178-GA14U is a simple and attractive design that offers a semi-permanent mounting solution. The mounting solution includes a cradle that works with the following Garmin devices:
NOTE: The Garmin GPS 72, GPS 76, GPSMAP 76 and GPSMAP 76S WILL NOT FIT this holder. These units require the RAM-HOL-GA6U holder.

RAP-SB-178-GA14U Includes the Following:
Warranty: Manufacturer's, RAM Mounts (National Products Inc.), Limited Life Time Warranty.
Base Description: The base includes a 2.5 inch RAM-202PSA 3M semi-permanent adhesive disk pad that attaches firmly to a flat surface.
Arm: Flexible snap link arm that allows the ultimate in versatility.
Adapter: Composite black powder coated universal diamond plate. Two holes measuring 1.9 inches from center to center is compatible with the AMPS hole pattern and any RAM Mount holder (RAM-HOL-xxxx) for future mounting options.
Cradle Included:Includes RAM-HOL-GA14U
high strength plastic holder. Place the top of the GPS into the cradle,
and then push the base into the expandable arms at the bottom of the
holder. The arms will then snap into place when the GPS is completely
secured in the cradle. The cradle allows all cables (not included) to stay connected while the GPS unit is in the cradle.

Features
General recommendations to properly adhere the adhesive disc.
Ensure that both the dashboard surface and the bottom of the Ram Mount base have been thoroughly cleaned and dried.
Attach either side of adhesive to the base first, let it sit several hours to allow adhesive to thoroughly bond.
Attach other side of adhesive (with base) to the dashboard surface.
Let the adhesive disc sit several hours before adding socket arm components, etc. to allow the adhesive to properly bond to the dashboard surface.
