Description
The RAP-B-121U is a composite clamp base mount assembly that will accommodate a rail or edge lip from 5/8 (.625 inch to 1.25 inches) and commonly used in aviation applications. The assembly includes a standard sized length arm and universal round plate. This mount DOES NOT INCLUDE a cradle or holder. See below for cradle and holder options.

Clamp Base Description: RAP-B-121BU composite clamp base mount accommodates a rail or edge lip from 5/8 inch to a maximum of 1.25 inches. The 1 inch rubber ball sits at a right angle to the plane of the mount so when connected to a rail, the ball sits parallel to the rail. To mount the base, simply place the clamps around the rail or edge and then screw the large knob at the end of the threaded rod. The hand tightened clamp makes this the perfect mounting system for rental planes and unusual shaped motorbike rails. The rail does not need to be perfectly round to use this base.
Arm Description: RAP-B-201U composite standard sized length arm for 1 inch balls. The arm measures 2.875 inches between socket centers (3.6875 inches in overall length). A plastic twist knob allows you to articulate the arm in any direction.
Adapter Description: RAP-B-202U composite universal 2.5 inch round diameter plate with 4 pre-drilled holes. This plate is compatible with the AMPS hole pattern and has two holes 1.9 inches from center hole to center hole.
Hardware Included: No. Mounting hardware is not included. Most cradles and holders include mounting hardware to attach to the RAP-B-238U.

Second Mounting Ball: Optional. Add the RAP-B-121BBU creating a double ball base. This 1 inch diameter ball allows a second mounting point to add additional accessories. The mounting point is located on top of the RAP-B-121BU base.
RAP-B-201U Additional Information: Black composite arm allows a 1 inch diameter ball accessory to be connected at either end. A tightening knob on the side of the arm enables the sockets to clamp firmly to the attached accessories. The arm allows for easy adjustment by loosening the side knob, a single spring inside the arm opens the sockets, allowing the arm to pivot on the attached accessory. This enables the arm and accessories to be positioned at various angles allowing the ultimate in position flexibility. Loosen the knob completely and the arm will disconnect from the accessories.
RAP-B-202U Additional Information: Black composite universal round plate measures 2.5 inches in diameter. This diamond plate connects to a 1 inch diameter ball. The hole pattern found on the diamond plate will connect to a large variety of third party cradles and mounts (including RAM holders RAM-HOL-xxxx) and including those with the industry standard AMPS hole pattern.
